RED SHIRT FRIDAY SALE

 

The Red Shirt program was initiated in 2009 by the VFW Post 7507 Commander John Pletz. Fountain Hills Mayor Jay Schlum proclaimed each Friday as being Red Shirt Friday and encouraged all town citizens to wear the Red Shirts to honor all living and deceased Veterans.

 

The 2014 version of the Red Shirt has been developed and a revitalized sales efforts is led by the VFW Post’s Women in Partnership (WIP). The Red Shirts are designed by Heritage Cross Apparel of Fountain Hills.  The Red Shirt design, front and back, has received State of Arizona trademark designation in November, 2013.

 

Red Shirt Sales Venues:  Red Shirts will be offered for sale at various VFW Post 7507 activities, which would include the two Art Fairs in Town (November and February), and the Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day events. Red Shirts are also available every day at CardSmart, located at Plaza Fountainside shopping center at Fountain Park.  And, of course, you can purchase online, right here!
